track while on vacation or during holidays. And the reason that I want to discuss this is because

this is one of the biggest barriers for a lot of people of getting started or staying consistent

is vacations and holidays. And right now,

during the summertime, this is something that's coming up more frequently with my clients.

I just got back from a few days of vacation and I have realized that there's a lot of things

that I do that are largely second nature that I've been doing

for a while that are probably going to be helpful for other people as well to hear about

the ways that I stay on track and the things that I generally tend to recommend for clients

as well when we have discussions about this topic.

So that's the topic of our discussion

today and I'm going to go ahead and get right into it. The first and most important thing

that I recommend, if you can, is to stay as active as you possibly can. And that means if you can,

try to get in some type of exercise in the morning.

If you can, try to schedule your day so that you are being active throughout the day.

So when I say some type of exercise, I don't mean sticking to the routine that you're doing at home.

That's probably not going to work in almost any case. And it's not necessary. You're going on vacation for a short period of time.

Your goal isn't and shouldn't be. And let's back up a little bit. Let's talk about expectations.
