My parents have lived in suburban Chicago most of their lives.

They're both doing great and we get to see them a few times every year.

Whenever we do, one or both of them will greet our kids and then inevitably turn to

Bonnie or I in exclaim, I can't believe how big they've gotten in the past several months.

I always find this interesting because our kids don't look that different to me after three
