Ukraine is doing everything to ensure that after Russian aggression, one in the world will dare to attack any nation.

Ukrainian President Volodomir Zelensky spoke in front of the UN General Assembly this afternoon,

his first time appearing at the annual

gathering in person. He accused Russia of weaponizing Ukraine's

Zoporizia nuclear power plant along with the global food supply.

We must act united to defeat the aggressor and focus all our capabilities and

energy on addressing these challenges.

Salinsky's speech echoed that of US President Joe Biden, who addressed the assembly earlier in the day.

We have to stand up to this naked aggression today and deter other would be aggressors tomorrow.

That's why the United States, together with our allies and partners around the world,

will continue to stand with the brave people Ukraine as they defend their sovereignty and territorial integrity and their freedom.

House Republicans are struggling to find common ground on a plan to fund the government.

Despite that, GOP leaders are still planning on going ahead with a vote on their proposal

this week.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy left a conference meeting this morning, insisting Republicans could still

come together.

Listen, I think the best way to handle anything is you work through this conference and you get to work done and that's what we're doing.

Of course, any legislation that passes the GOP-led House

will also have to be approved by the Democratic-led Senate.

And earlier today, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer

had some strong words about the current GOP proposal.
