Thursday September 7th. Former President Donald Trump formally notified a

judge that he may try to move his Georgia election interference

case to federal court. Trump's lawyers have previously said they would try to move

the case which could help him get the charges dropped by invoking immunity

as a federal official.

Several of Trump's co-defendants are trying to make the same move.

Trump faces 13 charges in George's RICO case,

and has pleaded not guilty as have 18 co-defendants.

Trump and the others are accused of being part of a broad conspiracy

to overturn the 2020 election results in the state.

Some Democratic senators say President Joe Biden needs to sharpen his economic message to voters to boost his low approval ratings.

Senator Joe Manchin, who hasn't ruled out a third party run for president in 2024 said this to CNN today.

I think the people basically have spoken loud and clear they're not happy with the two choices and only

two choices.

And Senator Richard Blumenthal said the White House needs to be more aggressive in its

messaging as well as sell his accomplishments. The more the better in terms of

pushing that message and making the American people aware of President Biden's achievements.

In a new CNN poll, 58% of Americans say that Biden's policies have made economic conditions

in the U.S. worse.
