The White House says Israel has agreed to a four-hour window, where they pause military operations

in Gaza each day to allow civilians to

evacuate to southern Gaza and for aid to come in.

During a briefing earlier, White House official John Kirby said the

process would start today, though Israel has implemented hours long

pauses for the past several days.

He underscored that the Israeli military's offensive is in response to a Moss's terror attack

on October 7th, but also said this.

Israel has an obligation to fully comply with international law and we believe these

causes are a step in the right direction.

Israel has been warning civilians to move to southern Gaza as it attacks targets in the north.

However, civilians haven't been able to leave Gaza in large numbers since the war began.

In a statement today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

insisted there would be quote no ceasefire if Hamas doesn't release hostages.

President Joe Biden spoke during his visit to Illinois today, where he tried to strengthen
