December 19th. A UN Security Council vote calling for a pause in hostilities in Gaza to

allow critical aid in has been delayed again

until tomorrow. That's according to two sources familiar with the matter. Here's what

diplomat for the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed Abu Shahab said during negotiations.

Israel must stop blocking the entry of aid and allow life saving assistance

into the Gaza Strip. The US.S. had vetoed previous measures at the

Security Council and voted against a call for a ceasefire in the larger General

Assembly. The extended delay suggests diplomats haven't agreed on the language in the current draft that they hope would get America's support or at least an abstention so the measure can pass.

Meanwhile, his rally Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with some families of hostages held in

Gaza according to his office. Families demand answers from the Israeli

government about the fate of their loved ones and a deal to secure their
