Russian President Vladimir Putin met with his Turkish counterpart, Rajep Airdewan today to talk about the possibility

of reviving a crucial grain deal.

But no major breakthroughs came out of the meeting.

Putin pulled out of the deal back in July.

The deal had allowed Ukraine to safely export grain through its black seaports to be distributed worldwide.

Today, Putin reiterated that he wants restrictions to export Russian agricultural products such as

fertilizers and grain to be lifted as part of the deal. Putin also said

heat supply 1 million tons of Russian grain to Turkey to distribute to African

countries with the most need.

Eradawan, who previously helped broker the grain deal, had this message for Ukraine.

In order to be able to take common steps with Russia, Ukraine needs to soften its approach, especially now.

Putin also said Russia is not refusing to negotiate on how to end the war, but accused Ukraine of scuttling a previous draft agreement.

We hear about some new initiatives but this is not something that was ever discussed with us.

Therefore we do not accept anything new. As for mediation services, we have never refused them.

Roads out of Nevada's Burning Man Festival are expected to reopen today, after thousands of people were stranded in the desert for a third day.

The festival was hit by heavy rains, turning the ground into ankle deep mud, almost impossible

to drive on.

As of last night, an estimated 72,000 people were still trapped,

with some leaving the festival on foot.

Zohar Kannard said she originally planned to leave Saturday night.
