Thursday December 14th. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan is meeting with

top Israeli officials over the next two days. Today he met with Israel's

defense minister who told Sullivan that the war against Hamas would last quote

more than several months. He also met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamina and Yahoo, asking Israelis to transition

to a lower intensity phase on Hamas, potentially by the end of the year, according to a senior

U.S. official.

Separately, German and Dutch authorities arrested four alleged Hamas members suspected of plotting

terror attacks in Europe.

That's according to Germany's federal prosecutor, who said three suspects were arrested

in Germany and one in the Netherlands
