Scott, I want to get your take on something because I feel like you're going to have a strong opinion on this. And I did not prepare you.

What are your feelings on the NFC championship game and the Lions decision to go for it on fourth down multiple times?

And I was listening to sports radio earlier this week

as I was driving Harrison to daycare. And they were just talking about how those were pure

analytical decisions by the Lions front office. I guess they have one of the biggest nerd teams

in the NFL. And it just got me thinking of all of the hours we spent on this podcast,

screaming about the Yankees analytics department making decisions for on-field things. Well, if that's the case,

then the Lions Analytical Department just tends to go for fourth down every single time.

Because they went, that's what they do. They went for the highest. It's also Dan Campbell being

Dan Campbell. I mean, the guy likes to push it.

My thoughts are is if you're going to kick the fuel goal and make it a three

possession game in the first half, you should probably do the same thing in the second

half when there's less time on the clock.

Quarter and a half to go in the end of the championship game.

That's the big thing.

So I think a little bit of the, the moment got to, uh, to, to coach Campbell. And, uh, there are a few other ones. The timeout at the end of the game when they were holding their timeouts was probably the most egregious decision of them all, giving their defense zero chance unless they had to, they only had to recover the onside kick. But yeah,
