But there's hope. There are ways to stop the stress. And I don't just mean by getting more money.

Today we're going to talk about some of the major money mistakes that couples make. Are you making any of them?

And what can you do about it if you are? So Dr. Kim, I would love to hear. What is the first mistake you see couples

make with money? I think maybe goes hand in hand, but I would say debt and no budget. And usually

they go kind of hand in hand because we don't have a budget. I think people look at budgets.

A lot of times it's going to restrict me or it's going to

keep me from doing what I want to do. And I think in the real big picture, a budget really gives you

freedom because you know where you are. You can plug in money in your budget for recreation or for

each one of you have spending whatever. But I think it gives you a handle so you know where you are all the time.

And so you don't get into debt, you know, and I think debt is so easy.

I see that with so many young couples that they have just credit cards come, graduate

from high college, get credit cards and offers.

And then you use them.
