Hey, it's um, you're listening to five minute Friday, someone told me yesterday that when

0:26.2

they think of my name, they think of me as Emily Abadi, like, need the first and the last

0:31.2

name. I can be just Emily. That's cool with me. Anyway, I digress. Hey, what's up? Hello, I've

0:40.2

had a week. I want to tell you what I did this week. I booked my trip for the Berlin Marathon.

0:45.0

And I'm going to be honest, I am scared as hell to even say that because right now I am

0:51.1

sitting in front of this microphone, speaking to you while also simultaneously icing my foot.

0:58.9

And I have the confidence from my PT team that I am capable of doing this, that I will be

1:08.3

1:56.2

off of running in January. So yeah, I just have a lot of feels. This has been something

2:02.3

I've wanted to do for a while. And I also recognize that London was something I wanted to do

2:07.9

for a really long time. And I put that off for a year after I had registered for it. So

2:15.3

what will be will be, but the hotel is booked. I, the flight is booked. The after travel

2:23.9

is mostly booked. And I am just going to do the best I can with what I have. I feel now,

2:30.8

like booking all of this and kind of putting this all in motion. I was really committed

2:36.8

to my recovery before. But this feels like I am being intentional with where I'm going

2:43.9

and my commitment to where I'm going. And that feels really good. It feels like I'm doing
