Last episode of 2020. Wow. You know, when I stop and look back at this year,

the way that I do that is typically just kind of scrolling through my camera roll and reading through

my journal. And I feel as though maybe more than any year of recent memory anyway that this one

felt like it both crawled by and also went by in the blink of an eye. It

has been a year for me filled with so much growth. And I really did navigate so many things that

were both unanticipated and also really good for me in that they've shaped me into this version

of myself that is really ready for whatever is going to come next. When I think about what it is

that I want in 2023, a lot of it involves me leveling up. It involves me putting myself out there

in ways that maybe I haven't just yet. And that's not just in business. That's in my personal life.

It's in my platonic relationships. I am ready to take things to a place that makes me right now.

I feel both giddy and a little uncomfortable. Now before we get to this place, before we turn

the page into the new year, I do have to take a moment and reflect on a decision I made this

week that makes me really proud of me. I am not a person that is good on or at excuse me sitting

still. I am a person that likes to have a full schedule. I definitely definitely am subpar

at taking time off from work. And so up until earlier this week, I had fully intended to publish

episodes of the show next week. And that would be leading up to the series that has now become

a constant here on the show, the Turning the Page series with five back-to-back episodes

to kick off the new year here on hurdle. But then I asked myself why. Why was I so determined

to keep going and do so knowing that so many other individuals were planning and are planning

excuse me to take off the time to take a beat to do a little inventory maybe before turning the

page before January 1st. And I realized that I just didn't have a good answer, especially because

I am my own boss. I make my own decisions and hurdle is due for a season break.
