Summary
I'm honestly in a really good place right now, making limoncello out of lemons. Today, I'm talking about the positive progress I've made in the last week re: the injury update, my new travel plans, and the simple comparison that came to me on my first run back the other day. Appreciation for the little things, on high.

| 0:23.6 | This week it will be Five Minute Friday, it will not be 20 minute Friday. |
| 0:27.7 | It is so crazy, like how much can happen within a week, right? |
| 0:32.6 | So to catch up this bead last Friday for the episode, I came out and talked to you all |
| 0:39.7 | about navigating a little bit of injury and a week later a lot has changed. |
| 0:45.9 | Some of it, most of it I would say, for the better, although not all of these decisions |
| 0:51.6 | were easy. |
| 0:52.9 | So I withdrew my entry from the London marathon, I got that entry through new balance and |
| 0:59.6 | one of my biggest fears in withdrawing this entry is that the London marathon is notoriously |
| 1:04.9 | really difficult to get into. |
| 1:06.9 | I was really sad thinking about the fact that this injury may have cost me like my one shot |
| 1:14.6 | at running this race. |
| 1:16.5 | The good news I talked to my friends at new balance, it seems as though I will be able |
| 1:20.7 | to run again, run it period next year. |
| 1:24.5 | So at least there's that, but I withdrew my entry and about an hour later, I was on |
| 1:29.2 | the phone with Lisa from Delta looking into flights to Mon and I cried with Lisa from Delta |
| 1:38.5 | plus her and had to cough up a little bit more money, but was able to tack on a little |
| 1:46.7 | bit of Italy to my now upcoming Euro trips. |
| 1:50.6 | So I'm heading to Italy next week, midweek, I will be there until the following Tuesday |
| 1:57.2 | then I hop from Italy to Paris and then I hop from Paris to Chicago, we're on Saturday |
| 2:03.4 | morning quick plug. |
| 2:04.7 | I'll be hosting a live hurdle with my friends at Tracksmith at the Chicago Athletic Association |
