Hey everyone, Emily here, you are listening to another installment of five minute Friday

from Hurtle. Oh man, it feels so dang good to be back in New York. Listen, I am so grateful

for the traveling. I had an unbelievable time gallimanting around Italy and France and

Chicago, but man, there is just no place like home. And it's interesting, right? Because

this is the first home that I've walked back into and trust me, like I have traveled

so much over the last few years for work. I am used to being away for little stints of time,

but this is the first home that I walked back into and it just really, really felt like home.

And it's the best damn feeling. Anyway, five minute Friday this week, I got to talk to you about

Chicago. Wow, first off, how special was it to have the opportunity to be on the sidelines of a

major marathon for the first time in forever? You know, it made me think about the appreciation I

have or the opportunity that I have to just be on the sidelines, which isn't an easy place to get to,

right? Especially when you hope to be the one that's running the course, but standing there in

community and this moment over the weekend, it was truly special. I think I've said this on the

the show before, but think about life, right? Like when is there any other opportunity for so many

different people of different backgrounds and political beliefs and, you know, opinions to stand

together and come together for one common purpose. And the fact that this common purpose is

individuals on a quest to go after their big potential is so special. And what an intimate and

beautiful moment and opportunity there is between the runner and the bystander of the cheerer

to like share that energy. It's just awesome. It was interesting when I was out there on the

sidelines and I was cheering. I went to mile 24 and a half and I actually wrote about this earlier
