Happy Five Minute Friday, y'all.

Emily Abbottie here, you're listening to Hurtle. It's good to have you. I know, I know, don't come at me. Summer is not over yet. I believe it goes until the end of September, but I am leaving on Tuesday to go to Tokyo for two weeks. And when I return, it will officially be fall. So I'm kind of in

my feels. I'm thinking about how I want to spend my final weekend of summer aside from, of course,

packing for the foreseeable future. I digress. Last weekend, I was soaking in all the seasonal vibes.

I went back to Connecticut to hang out with my family and see them before I start traveling.

And we went to the beach. And I did something that I have a confession. I have never done before.

And that is, this is going to sound so crazy to some of you,

wear a triangle bikini top. I know, I know, it's not a big deal. I see women wearing triangle

bikini tops all the time. But this is kind of, my relationship with triangle bikini tops is

similar to the relationship that I have

with denim and that when I was younger, I had a really hard time finding denim that made me feel

comfortable. And at the same, to the same effect, I never really felt comfortable wearing that

style bathing suit, regardless of what bottoms I was wearing. I never really felt comfortable wearing that style bathing suit, regardless of what bottoms I was

wearing. I never really felt as though I had the quote unquote right body for a triangle bathing

suit top. And I know this is silly. It's like that saying that we hear at the top of every summer,

if you have a body, your body is a bikini body, right?

That's what we're talking about.

Still, it just never felt right for me.

But over the summer, I saw a woman wearing a super cute triangle top with a very similar bottom style, like high leg, high waisted to what I like to wear.

And I said, you know what?

I'm going to buy one.

And well, that triangle top sat in my bathing suit drawer for the past three months.
