Hello, welcome friend. I am back this week with a guest who I have known for a couple of years now.

Lola Aruya is the founder of a brand development studio called the brand Dula.

Fun fact, her and her team actually created the branding and website for You Are Here,

which you should definitely check out in the show notes.

She actually created the first iteration of the website during the pandemic

when you are here was primarily a virtual community centered around programming

around health and wellness topics so we could stay well during such stressful times in 2020.

She was so awesome to work with at that time I reached out to her again and it really just goes to show the importance of relationship

management and also showing the care in the quality of the work that you put out.

People will just want to work with you again in the future and that is what happened with us

Prior to taking the studio full-time though she was a product marketing manager at Google up until

earlier this year She will dive into some of her backstory and journey getting to

Google as well as the importance of parallel paths and so much more. I hope you

Could you talk a little bit and take a step back in terms of how you got started down this path of design as your profession?

Yeah, it's a great question because it wasn't very straightforward. Well, it might have been straightforward to say to other people

looking at it, but I definitely didn't know that's where my path was leading.
