Hi everybody, welcome to the women's dating and confidence podcast. My name is Amber, and today

we're going to be talking about building your tribe and creating friendships, part two.

So the reason this is part two is because episode number 60

was an interview that I did with Aaron, my friend Aaron here in Santa Barbara. And the episode was

called How to Make Friends as an adult. And I feel like we really dove into some of the mindset

stuff and like the energy that you need to come from.

And most recently when I went to Portland, my speech was about how to create friendships and how to build your tribe and all of that.

And people really enjoyed it.

And there were a lot of practical steps that I added in that talk that were not covered during that

interview that I wanted to share with you here. And basically, my goal for you at the end of this

podcast episode is that if you listen to it and you apply it, you could start 10 new friendships

this month. And that might seem a little bit daunting or not even possible,

but I want to tell you that it's actually a lot easier than you think and you can do it.

And if you apply these few simple things, you're also going to stand out like a unicorn because

most people don't do much to change their social life. Most people just create

friendships by default, people that they've known for a long time, from childhood, from college,

people who are in their vicinity, just who they happen to work with. But most people aren't

very intentional about creating the connections that

they want in life. And you are going to be the kind of person, not only doing that for yourself,

but creating the opportunities for other people to connect and create those connections as well

for themselves. So you're going to be the freaking hub of friendship.
