It's the 9th of February 2011. But Steve isn't diligently preparing for Valentine's Day,

like you'd hoped. Instead, he's stuffed in the back of an unmarked police car on his way to

St. Helen's police station in Merseyside. He's desperately trying to think of a detail he might

have forgotten to share with the police,

or an event he may have misremembered when he told them all about the scam that might have landed him here.

He never helped Jim sell the devices. He never helped him demonstrate them either.

The police even know he's TecoWiz, the blogger who's been denouncing Jim for years.

Can't they see he's a good guy? Well, I'm struggling to think how on earth I've been

implicated in something. What am I supposed to have done that's so bad they need to arrest me

for such a serious offence? In the back of Steve's mind is his wife.

She's just witnessed him being driven away, and she's at home alone.

She's not like me.

She's like a bit of a delicate flower, you know.

But there's nothing Steve can do now.

He's just got to decide how to play this one.

The car pulls up in the car park outside St Helens Police Station,

an intimidating concrete cube with long thin windows.
