Good morning everyone and welcome back to the Messy Masterpiece podcast with Chad and

ourselves for Florida daily, especially today on the special Monday or whatever

day you're listening. We're picking up on day four of our Finding Peace devotional by

Charles Stanley. I'm going to read the scripture and then Tori's going to read the

Devo. Let's do it. The scripture is Colossians 1 verse 17. He existed before

anything else and he holds all creation together. The devotional today is on

five essential beliefs for a peaceful heart. And I'm going to paraphrase a bit, but

he challenges us to take a long hard look at what we truly believe about God

because our peace is determined by the degree to which these truths are

embedded in our souls. So the first belief he talks about is that God is

absolutely sovereign. Recognizing and accepting the truth that God is sovereign

over everything is vital for your inner peace. This means that nothing

related to you is beyond his watchful eye and loving care. Believe too, God is

your provider. From cover to cover, the Bible has a clear message that God is the

one who provides for all of your needs. No need is too massive, problematic or

severe for Jesus to meet it. The Bible tells us those who seek the Lord shall

not lack any good thing. Amen. The Bible also says in Psalm 34 verse 10, it says

this, even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the

Lord will lack no good thing. Wow, it's so good. Believe three, God made you the

way you are for a purpose. There are many things about your life in which you

have no control, except those things as part of the way God created you. Your
