Hi, this is Lily DeHoya Sanderson, and you're listening to Tuzon Vori.

Happy Easter. I know it's coming up in just a little while now, and this will be the

podcast that's meant for that week of curriculum. So I hope that you had a wonderful Easter season, not just confined to one-days celebration or

acknowledgement, but a whole season.

I'm so grateful that the church has emphasized Easter more and more in recent times.

My kids grew up hearing me say that Christmas should just be a warm-up to Easter,

as wonderful as the Christmas season can be.

It should just be a warm-up to this marvelous season where we commemorate the completion

of Christ's mission to the earth, the culmination of his incredible life's offering in

his crucifixion and then marvelous resurrection and the offering that he gave for sin on our behalf,

as well as, of course, breaking the bonds of death so that all of us could come back into God's presence at whatever level we choose. Now, you know, I can go from one

idea to and have it pretty quickly, so I'm going to hold it off there. I want to keep today's

message on the shorter side because it is a holiday week, and everybody has lots of things to do to prepare and celebrate.

And also, I'm leaving this kind of late because of General Conference, which just concluded at the time that I'm recording this yesterday.

So this is the Monday after General Conference.

And I am already putting pressure on Doug Larson, who does all the editing to get this done before the holiday.

And I usually try to give them to them earlier. So I'm going to try to keep this a little bit more succinct into just one part.

But I hope that you have found it in your own hearts

and in your own thoughts and minds and observances

to acknowledge this great season and to find your way to celebrate, which can be hard in

the midst of all the troubles of our day.

On the contrary, it should be something that we celebrate with greater depth and gratitude
