What we do?

Well, he, uh...

Soccer.

Oh, he's a soccer guy.

He's also an NFL guy, too.

Yeah, he likes the soccer, and a lot of the world does.

The referee stops the time when someone gets hurt or gets hurt or there's a penalty kick.

It takes time to set up.

When the end of the half approaches, the referee communicates via headset radio to the secondary referee the time he's going to add.

And it turned, the secondary referee has an electronic board where he punches in the number of minutes to be added and then shows the board to everyone in the stadium so the spectators know how much time will be added. I guess I've

never seen that translate to TV. They never do it on TV either. Yeah, I never really paid

attention. Okay, here's a crazy idea. How about instead of doing all that, when they need to stop,

the ref just blows a whistle and then a guy, and then a guy with the clock just hits stop. Right. They've figured that out for every other sport. Right. Just stop the clock right there. And then start it again. And then start it. Yeah. Yeah. We have the technology. Unless you have a sport that doesn't have a clock, like, and the only one that comes to mind is baseball.

Yeah, well, no, they've got the pitch clock now.

You can't stop that, though. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I don't get that. That's true. I mean, we have just stopped the clock. We've done with another sport, right? Just stop the clock. Basketball, football? We just stop the clock. A lot of people are provincial though when it comes to sport.

We see it right now.

We see it every sport we like too for that matter.

Yeah, but the other way is better. I don't want the kids get paid. I don't want the NFL to play anywhere but, you know, my team, you know. I don't play on Christmas Day. I won't play whatever. Shut up. It's a money-making business, you know, they're going to keep doing that.
