The murder trial started yesterday for the illegal immigrant accused of killing the Georgia nursing student.

Perhaps the most shocking testimony so far has come from the UGA police officer who found Riley's lifeless body on campus.

And during opening statements, the prosecutor said that Jose Ibarra went out hunting for

woman the day that Riley was murdered.

She says that when Riley refused to be Ibarra's rape victim, he bashed her school in

In Dallas, a bullet strikes a Southwest Airlines flight prior to take off.

Southwest Airlines says, thankfully, no one was hurt when flight 2494 was hit by the bullet while preparing to take off from Dallas-Love Airport for Indianapolis.

The airline says the bullet struck the right side of the aircraft just under the flight deck.

Passengers were removed from the plane and re-booked on another flight.
