I'm Rob Stats Guerrere. Today is Thursday, February 9th, 2023. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers.

The news with this team never stops, and that was definitely the case yesterday. First, we got a Brock Purdy surgery update for me and Rapapur of NFL Network.

Here's where it all stands.

Brock Purdy is going to visit Dr. Keith Meister, the Rangers team doctor.

That is going to be on the 21st.

The plan as of now is to have surgery on the 22nd on his torn UCL.

There were several options, including no surgery. There are players in the

NFL with very similar injuries who decided just to rehab. Surgery was deemed to be the best

option for him. It does not sound like the plan is for a Tommy John full reconstruction. That

would be longer than six months. That is not what is being discussed here.
