Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers. We told you a lot

last week about the guys the 49ers drafted and about some of their undrafted free agents,

but we didn't dive too deeply into the guy that many say is the jewel of the undrafted free agent class,

Mikhail Kamara. Kamara won a national championship with the Indiana

Hoosiers and was a key part of Kurt Signetti's defense. So how did the 49ers seal the deal?

Well, according to Vic Tafer, there were roughly seven to ten teams interested in Kamara

throughout the process, with perhaps half that number pushing hard to sign him

as the draft came to a close.

So what swung it for the Niners?

They want to use him the way Indiana used him in 2024 when he had 10 sacks, 15 tackles for

loss, two forced fumbles, and led the FBS in total pressures. The Hoosiers basically allowed
