Hello heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot. I'm Tracy Barnett, your host and narrator.

Heroes, we have a bit of a treat for you this week. We have the one, the only James Damato, and only James Damato. It's James's first solo game and we have this here. I know I said Firebrands last episode, but we have this here because we needed to get something in before a very, very special

event next week, which is the 500th episode of One Shot.

All right, Heroes, let's meet our party for this week, and it's just me.

I am the only party because we're recording a solo RPG.

This is a pretty big break in our formula,

and you might be wondering, why are we doing it?

Well, part of it is that I have literally just never

done a solo RPG on the show before.

A lot of one shot is about exploring the possibilities of role-playing games,

and it feels weird to leave out what has become a major genre unto itself.

And the other reason is that we estimated

that previous series would be a little bit longer

than they actually ended up being.
