Like, how do you just meditate on one part of it?

I mean, every word here, every phrase, we could soak in for a long time.

So big picture, I would just encourage you today as we pray and meditate on this verse,

particularly in this Advent season, to realize this is the most astounding miracle

I would submit in all of the Bible, that God has become flesh, that God has become man, that God has come to us. You think about all the

miracles Jesus did really aren't that surprising once you realize he's God in the flesh. Is it

that surprising that he walks on water?

Like, that seems pretty miraculous until you realize, well, it is the God who created the water

and the water obeys him. So it's not too startling that he would walk on it or is it that startling that he would feed

over 5,000 people with just a little bit of bread and fish well i mean yes it's miraculous until you

realize ah god created the stomachs of the people who are eating that food and the food itself,

he's the one who nourishes us.

So, yes, it's a miracle,

but the miracle that's even greater than that

is this is God in the flesh,
