Welcome to the fit, healthy and most of all happy podcast. I'm your coach and host Josh here with his co-host and co-coach kj and i'm on the mic and today we're giving you seven ways

but these seven tips are going to help you level up your thinking remove self-doubt as well as just

foremost is having positive self-talk and a positive self-image so one thing I

was talking to my friend with recently and a tip I've really liked is if you talk to

yourself in a way that you wouldn't talk to your friends you're making a mistake

so if you're the type of person that goes oh I'm I'm so stupid, or I'm so lazy, or this was

horrible, or I'm such an idiot. Like those types of talks are not going to make you feel good. And imagine saying that to your friend. How would that friend feel towards you? They'd hate you. They'd be resentful towards you. So there's no reason you should do it to yourself. I'm not saying we need to sit there and be ridiculous cheerleaders of ourselves, but it is important. We do have some self-belief.

And there's nothing wrong with saying, hey, I need to do better. be ridiculous cheerleaders of ourselves but it is important we do have some self-belief and there's nothing wrong saying hey i need to do better like focus up josh let's get after it something along those lines but you shouldn't be demeaning yourself discouraging yourself it's really important you are someone in your mind who enables yourself to believe you can do things so when you set a crazy goal say i can do this it can take time i might fail but i'm going to find a way to get it done. The more you can do things. So when you set a crazy goal, say, I can do this. It can take time.

I might fail, but I'm going to find a way to get it done. The more you can have that positive self-talk and really reward yourself for things, we mentioned in the past saying, I've only done a few workouts or that text or that self-comment of I've only. But instead, if you can reward your progress, if you can look back on how far you come the change you made the change you're going to continue to make

this is really going to help you with your mindset. So it all starts in your mind. You spend a lot of time in there. And the more you can do this, the more reflection you can have. The more you can realize that failures are just lessons, the better of a place you'll be on. But we will be expanding on this as we advanced through the episode. Yeah, just one thing is that I remember looking at some studies where they said, however many thousands of thoughts we have in a day, a certain amount of them are negative. And it's just, it's crazy because you probably don't notice them. But it's just, it's something that we really need to focus in on. Like I think they said maybe 50 or 60%, maybe even higher, actually negative stuff like,

you know, just not great things.

And it's something that if we change this alone, I do guarantee that we will get better results.
