case takes place in a cozy little town on the edge of the Peak District in a town called

Cromford in Derbyshire, England. It's the kind of town where everyone knows everyone. It's a very

friendly place, it's a very proud place. People are proud to live there. It's very beautiful. Everyone cares for their space. It's just a nice place to be.

For a small town, it's pretty popular with tourism. A lot of people travel there to go walking down all the scenic routes, have a look at all the picturesque landscapes. They've got a few like high streets with the little shops on. But then on September 17th, 2009, this peaceful town was disturbed when a couple of tourists

stumbled across a horrific scene on the roadside.

A man named Peter Noble was out for a walk with, I believe, his wife, around 12.40pm when they were just walking down

this kind of country lane, taking in all the sites. And they walked down this particular

road that leads to Cromford train station and as they got onto that road, they noticed a taxi

parked rather oddly in the middle of the road. And because this taxi was rather out of place, Peter approached it and had a look to see if everything was okay.

And when he got there, he realized that the boot of the car, the trunk of the car, was open.

So he went over and lifted the door a little more to open it fully and inside the boot of

this car, he found a dead body, a man's dead body covered in blood. So immediately Peter calls
