I'm your host Kevin Miller and today's Ziegbaum comes from our guest in the last two shows Chris Gillibow. We asked him for his favorite

zig quote and value from that and here is what he said.

You know, obviously it's hard to narrow down the influence

and the tremendous legacy of Zigzigler.

But I would say something that kind of just stuck with me

and I think about it often.

He said something that could be paraphrasing this, but it's something like, you know, failure is an event.

Failure is something that happens. Failure is a circumstance, it's not a person.

And I think about that all the time because I failed in a lot of stuff in life and I failed in some career stuff. I've also failed a lot of personal stuff. When I was a kid I was juvenile, high school dropout,

and some of it is funny to think about,

because I have some funny stories about that,

but then also some of it was kind of hard at the time.

And just kind of realizing at some point in life,

you know what, those things don't define me.

Those personal challenges, they don't define me.

If anything, I can learn from them and they can become part of who I am now and I can use them for good in some way.

And the same for career stuff you know like the

failures that I've had those are just events those are circumstances I am not a
