The Hello and welcome to mini episode number 484 of real-life ghost stories, and I have two

spooky stories for you today, and the last story comes from the 22nd of September

2025, and story number one comes from Brea.

The first story takes place in my junior year of high school.

I was driving around my smallish town with three friends.

We'd gone out to dinner after practice and we're listening to music because what else was there to do in rural nowhere?

It was getting close to 10pm so I started driving my first friend home, who lived outside of town off some winding back roads. At one point

there was a railroad crossing next to an old barn and a bunch of trees. I pulled up as a train

was going by so I stopped behind the car in front of me and continued to sing and talk with my friends.

After a minute or two I realised the car that had been in front of me was gone.

It struck me as odd. It was very dark so we should have seen headlights turn around

and they would have had to do at least a three-point turn to get out of their spot near

the gates. I decided I had imagined there was a car and pulled up to be first to cross once the rail

went up. That's when one of my friends in the back seat said, where did that silver car go? She had seen

the exact same car, a silver sedan, that had now vanished. I told her I was

wondering the same. We all sat in silence waiting for the train to pass and every second in that

car spot felt so eerie. It wouldn't have creeped me out nearly as much if she hadn't seen the same

colour car as me. It's not like I said out loud, oh, there's a car up here, because it was so

mundane to stop at a railroad crossing. The next one still makes me think something was

slipped into my drink because I truly cannot explain it. Even writing it down now, it feels so unbelievably silly.

I was also in my teens hanging with a friend my age and my neighbour who was like my older sister.
