When you think about singleness, what comes to your mind? Are the feelings around it overwhelmingly positive, negative, or neutral?

Is singleness something you think that is celebrated, or do you think it's more questioned in the church?

As we continue our seven weeks series on different themes around God's sex and intimacy,

this week we're going to be looking at singleness and how it's thought about, talked about,

and walked out among Christians.

While our church culture around singleness hopefully seems to be shifting a little, there's

still a lot of work to be done to disentangle cultural perceptions from what the Bible

says about singleness.

And that's why I'm excited that my guest today, Dr. Danny Trujewik, has written a book called

The Meaning of Singleness.

It's really all about developing a solid

practical theology of singleness. Now, Danny is brilliant. She's a great writer. She's also

the founding director of the Single-minded Ministry, which is a peer church ministry whose mission

is to develop biblical, theological, and pastoral resources exploring God's

purpose for singleness. Danny's research and ministry revealed a high calling of single Christians.
