Something I used to do all the time when I was younger was explore abandoned places, whether

it was abandoned houses, psychiatric wards, or just unfinished construction sites, but we

saw it all.

Welcome back to the swamp my friends, it's good to see you made it back for another

episode, the day I'm going to be sharing some creepy and allegedly true urban exploration

horror stories.

Now, without further ado, let's go explore these abandoned places and see what scares

life just beyond that corner.

I haven't told these stories to anyone in several years.

Every time I do I get chills all over and my eyes would start watering, even though

I wasn't crying.

This took place at an abandoned insane asylum in the city where I grew up in South Alabama.

It has since been torn down.

Both stories come from very close friends of mine.

They do not know each other in any way.

The first took place around 8 years ago.

Two friends of mine, we'll call them Mike and Jake, decided to climb the fence around

this asylum, as many others have done before.
