Hi guys, it's Rach, and this is a quick word on complaining.

Or more specifically, how to stop complaining and actually solve the problem that you're

complaining about.

Okay, I want you to think of something in your life that you have complained about recently

to another person.

You came over and worked and you complained to your husband about Carol from accounting

because you can't stand her and she's pessimist and she eats meat and you're a vegan and

just basically everything about her you dislike and so you complain to your husband about

Carol.

Or maybe you go to work and you complain to Carol about your husband, right?

She loves to gossip you guys are work besties and you complain about the fact that he is

not putting in the effort that you wish that he would and you felt really disappointed

because he didn't show up for your anniversary the way you wanted him to and you are complaining

to your mama about your sister, your sister about your mama.

I just want you to take a moment and think of a topic in your life that you complain about

to somebody else.

Here is my attempt to shift your perspective.

You are complaining to the wrong person.

You are complaining to the person who has no power to fix what is frustrating you.

It's important to think from this perspective because if you know that you complaining to

the wrong person can't possibly improve the situation, then you're only doing it because

you like to complain.
