Welcome to the Hunts backcountry podcast. This is episode number 481 and as part of of the Experience Project, in today's episode, we are going over Steve's rifle.

Now, you've probably heard recent conversations with Form about small calibrers for big game hunting,

and we get into a little bit of that, but this is less about just

caliber and cartridge choice and more about all of the components that make up Steep's rifle,

including things like the chassis, scopes, suppressor, and more, as well as how he's managing

ballistics and wind in the field and shooting support.

So trekking poles, tripods, bipods, rear bags, etc.

We get into all that in this conversation.

As I said in that rifle video of mine and is also true today,

neither Steve nor myself are saying that you need a custom rifle at all, period, not needed. The reason I think it is important for us to

talk about the things that we use in this case is because if you are interested in not just a rifle
