pumped about it. I want to talk about perseverance. Today I'm really really diving into perseverance. How do you find the

gems in the crap stew of life.

How do we continue going forward

when you're in the middle of a terrible divorce,

when you've been betrayed by a close friend,

when you have a diagnosis as I've had in my life. How do you go forward? Do you ever ask yourself the question, why me?

And mean it, like like why is this terrible crappy thing happening to me?

guest. His name is John O'Leary and he's got an awesome book out called On Fire which is literal and

figurative he will tell you the story in the interview but I'm so moved by this person's story and how universal the message is that we all go through crap

Some of us go through worse crap than others,

so to speak.

But as my girlfriend Chris Carr would say,

you may not have cancer like she does,

but she asked the question what is your

shit pickle meaning is it your terrible divorce that won't end is it your own

illness is it depression is it addiction that you just can't seem to get it together?
