Apparently it looked like Critter Chat was

was having a good time but felt like I should stream today might not be able to do

it this weekend so I want to try to do it today and tomorrow if anyone's

watching which I assume they are although I'm not getting any comments yet I'll

just start talking.

I wanted to start today by remembering Michael Brooks,

who is everything everyone is saying about him is true,

so I don't feel like there's any need to be redundant.

Just know that the outpouring of affection for him was totally warranted. And losing someone like that in that way is really scary in its own way and reminds you just how lonely everything is.

But we're still here, and for now.

And the best way to honor him is to do what he wanted people to do, which was to

God damn it, be kind to each other. God fucking damn it, be kind.

I really appreciated that about him, is that he understood that the reward mindset and the value system inculcated by online, even among people who really truly want what's best for everyone, just reduces everyone to the cruelest version of themselves and the least generous, and that

there's no way to build a movement around that kind of mindset.

So, so yeah, rest in power as they say Michael I've only was on a few he show a few times but it was always

really really fun and he clearly he did a lot more work for it than fucking I ever have

and he was more prepared.
