What's going on, everyone. Welcome to another episode of the fit, healthy, and most of all, happy

0:04.7

podcasts. As always, I'm your coach and host Josh here with his co-host and co-coach KG and I'm in the house. And we're out here getting this done. Coach KG was sick for the start of the week. We had to put off filming a little bit later in the week and we're debating like, should we just do it on audio what should we do and we're like no when we do something we do it all the way right so

0:24.2

kyle made sure to get healthy just so we could record this for you so if you appreciate that make sure that you leave us a review share this podcast with a friend anything you can do to help us really means the world because we really do this just to help people become fitter,

0:56.6

healthier and happier. And that's why at the end of the day, we have no ads on this podcast. The only thing you'll hear us talk about is our coaching. We get approached by all these different companies offering us a lot of money to talk about things that we don't believe in. And we refuse to do that. Because at the end of the day, we just want this to be the raw truth of what we know works, what will guarantee your results and what will take you to the next level,

1:44.5

and to really just avoid all the nonsense. There's too much nonsense out there right now in the fitness industry, the health industry, the nutrition industry. Everyone's trying to sell something to you, take advantage of your desire to get results quickly. But instead, we're going to show you how to do it right. So if you appreciate that, once again, you can leave this review on Spotify or iTunes. I've been loving seeing the reviews pour in. And I even saw someone left reviews saying I finally figured out how to do it. So thank you to every single one of you that does do that. And if you don't have time to leave a review, if you've already done it, share this episode to your story, share it with a friend, help us grow. It would mean the world. It'll take two seconds. But now let's jump into the episode and we will start it off with Mr. Kyle's quote. Yeah, so my quote is a little different. Josh has an incredible mindset one. And as I was typing the caption for one of our most recent Instagram posts, you know, grocery store hacks as I was in Target, I was thinking nutrition is such a complex thing. And especially when

1:49.9

it comes down to it, you know what, I'm going to jump into my quote first and then I'll explain

1:53.2

it after. But my quote is, if a food is in possession or located in your residence, either you,

2:00.4

someone you love love or someone you

2:02.2

marginally tolerate will eventually eat it. And that's from John Barthi, who is the founder,

2:06.7

CEO of Precision Nutrition, an amazing nutrition course for coaches and everything. But I just

2:11.4

thought it was so powerful because I was thinking, I'm like, as I was typing this post,

2:14.7

I'm like, what is one of the most common mistakes a lot of people do and what just kind of leads to a lot of people struggling? It's bringing garbage into the house. It's having it around. It's just kind of willpower is so finite, right? Like, and it's just every single time we're like walking past a cupboard, like should I grab it? Like, you know, what should I do? like, you know, it's there, you know it's there, right? And I came across another kind of like a study that said, and I'll read it here, a 2006 study

2:39.5

done where there were two jars that were placed on the desks of secretaries. One was clear and

2:45.8

one was covered up. The secretary that could see the Hershey Kisses ate 71% more than the one who couldn't see it. Right? So obviously there's the thing like where it's like there and you can fully see it. You're going to probably grab it. You're probably going to eat it. But then also at the same time, I do believe if it's there, you'll probably want it as well. But it's just a good reminder that, you know, keep the stuff away from your house if possible. You know, bring healthy, whole, nutritious foods in. I know I'm jumping off into some nutritional tips here right away off the beginning. But, you know, if you do struggle with this, it's a good reminder. Bring in stuff that really adds value and you're going to definitely succeed and it's going to be a lot easier on your fitness journey. I'm a big believer in this and all the time I'll get like all this stuff Easter's coming up. It's a great example a bunch of people are going to give you random chocolates

3:27.4

Some you want some you don't want and even me. I'm like I don't need a huge bag of mini eggs

3:32.1

I'm just gonna be tempted to eat the whole thing and instead like I like to buy a really small pack of something or have one or two or have it while I'm out and not need to have it in my house because Because I know if it's here, it's just so easy to be like, oh, we have it.

3:42.9

Like, we'll have it later.

3:44.1

It'll be a time I want chocolate next year or something like that.

3:46.3

But you got to be honest with yourself. If you're someone who doesn't have that level of willpower, I know some people can have like a whole myriad of the craziest most like delicious foods around them and be totally fine

3:56.3

like partitioning it but if you're someone who just loves it you love to grab little things

3:59.9

sometimes it's better to give it away delicious foods around them and be totally fine, like partitioning it.

3:57.5

But if you're someone who just loves it, you love to grab little things, sometimes
