Hello and welcome once again to the Cinephiles, where we are continuing our exploration of Deadpool. My name is Steve Morris. I'm a filmmaker and directing instructor in Los Angeles, California. Maximum effort. Hello, everyone. My name is John Roka. I'm a writer, producer, host, and voiceover artist here in San Diego, California. I guess I should say critic. You know, I don't say critic enough when I do this kinds of things, but I guess I should say that. I'm trying to embrace that a little bit more. But yes, excited. Do you have secret shame about criticism? Sometimes I do. Yeah. I think there's always been a sense of like, what do they call that? What do the actors call it when they think they're going to get found out?

0:54.7

Like, it's just that kind of thing.

0:55.6

Oh, imposter syndrome? Imposter syndrome. Yes, because I'm not Roger Ebert. Yet, you know, but I am. But no one is. No, it's right. I've qualified for a number of critics' organizations. I get invited to review this stuff. And so, yes, I am a critic. It's just that I have issues with saying it about myself

1:12.2

because I do still get myself caught up with feeling like,

1:14.6

I mean, it's like, is Shannon McClung not an actor because he's not Tom Cruise or Tom Hanks or Ryan Gosseling?

1:30.6

I guess that's fair. Right. I mean, like, yeah, there are.

1:33.3

Such a good actor. He's a fantastic actor and you are a great critic. I think the jury has come back in. The verdict is that you can call yourself critic. There should be no imposter syndrome.

1:45.8

I appreciate that very much.

1:47.2

Please tell my YouTube comment thread that.

1:48.8

I will not talk to your YouTube comment thread.

1:52.5

I'm your friend, but I'm not stupid.

1:55.0

It's a fair point.

1:57.9

Anyway, we're here to talk on Deadpool, not me.
