without Jim Clemente because he is, once again, missing in action. God only knows where that guy goes

or what he does. But we have a very special guest today,

and we're going to switch up the format a little bit. This is going to be more of a long form.

We have a homicide detective, 22 years on homicide from the Chicago Police Department named Dan Stover,

and he happens to be from my old neighborhood. So we may be talking some

Chicago smack. And I hope that's cool with you guys. But Dan, how are you doing today? Tell us what's

happening. Where are you? I'm good, Maureen. Thanks for having me on. I'm happily retired in the

great state of Florida.

My brother just went there to visit for a few days or to thaw out, possibly.

It's rough.

It's been a rough winter, man.

Yeah, it's even been quite cold where I'm at, you know, north of Tampa, uh, along to golf. And it's actually

gotten pretty cold, colder than I'd like. But I got to tell you, Monday I had to go, uh,

back to Chicago for a murder trial. Uh, it was an appeal. Guy won an appeal. And, uh, it was

26 there. So I was like, I am so glad to be back you know today

at least you had a tan if you're going back going back with the tan is your best option right yeah yeah

yes absolutely that had to yeah we got to prove that you're from here yeah that, that had to piss some people off, huh?
