When you were influencing, did you ever have this dichotomy between what your real life was and your real thoughts versus what this public image you had to have was?

Oh yeah, constantly. And it actually tore me up inside. I didn't get to explore parts of my personality that really needed to develop during that period in my life.

I feel like in your early to mid 20s, you need to find out parts of yourself that grow into who you are.

And I felt a little bit stunted because it wasn't who I was and I identified with that so hard though.

In public that I didn't get to explore the nuances of my real personality and develop into the person that I now I'm realizing I actually am.

That's right. All of June we celebrate Gay Parades from the beginning of Gay Parades, which is every fucking parade to the now Gay Pride Parades, which is happens all over New York, London, Paris, even a Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, they have Gay Pride Parades, although those get kind of stabby.

I went outside and went out and hung out at the Gay Pride Parades and guys, what a celebration. What a celebration.

A lot of people think that they know what Gay Pride is all about. A lot of people think they know what the celebration is all about, but they're wrong.

Gay Pride and Gay Pride Day is all things to all people. It can be sloppy, it can be classy, it can be upscale, it can be kind of boring, it can be hipstery, it can be all sorts of things.

All sorts of Gays are represented on Gay Pride Parade Day, but we don't have access to all sorts of Gays. All we have access to is the parade and the parade is sloppy drunk trash.

Oh my God, I love going out there. The fucking outfits are amazing. Everyone's celebrating and it's stuck. Here's the problem because it's stuck in this revolutionary idea, right?

I was at the Gay Pride Parade. The first year the Gays got the right to marry in Los Angeles. I think at first they had it, then the law was like, no, you guys can't get married anymore.

They took it away and the next year was fully settled where it wasn't just in the courts. It was like, it's done now. It's the law.

They were celebrating. We overcame this. We have the right to gay gay married. Yeah, we did it. We did it. And there was still some of those people out there going, you fucking queers.

You should be ashamed of yourselves, but they couldn't be brought down. Not those Gays then, not in West Hollywood, not in the mecca of homosexual America.

No, they were just happy. They were gone, we love you. We love you anyway. And they just fucking get on their way with their booty short shorts.

It's everybody's day and they celebrated that. And they overcame something. It just came out of revolution.
