I was just know that Dan Withersfin did an interview recently on Mormon Matters podcast.

He has three church employees, one CES, two BYU staff, all four agreeing that the Book of Abraham has nothing to do with the book buyer.

And I'm thinking, wow, 2014, we've come a long way.

But what did the fact similes have to do with the Book of Abraham?

No, they're just like it's somehow Joseph channel spirituality.

It's scripture, but it's not in any way historical.

I get it from atheists that they feel good about where they've gone to and that proves it.

It's probably the same thing you and Gerald say about Christianity.

Well, I think that the argument for Christianity is different than the argument for Mormonism.
