| 1:26.0 | And if you don't count all the stress, all the expectations, and all the people pleasing, and all the things to do, if that's not enough, this is exhausting. |
| 1:35.0 | This year doesn't have to exhaust you like previous years when you use a simple practice of affirmations and thought reframing. |

| 2:15.0 | And so I love coaching because I get to create content that helps me first and reminds me of what I know and I put into practice and application. |
| 2:22.0 | And I just wanted to just have a hard to heart that even if in the past, you've been really good at balance or margins, or that you've seen tremendous growth in the past year by, because you've been so committed to your personal growth and your thoughts and your attentiveness and mindfulness, it's normal for your brain to want to freak out right now. |
| 2:44.0 | It's normal to absorb the stress and then think, oh my gosh, okay, I'm getting this and the presence for the teachers and this and, oh, no, wait, when I'm supposed to get pictures of the Santa was Santa for my kids. |
| 2:55.0 | Like the amount of obligations that we're juggling is pretty high. And so even if you feel like you have really found this balance, getting off the busy bus and feeling at peace, don't beat yourself up if you have a day where like, wow, I'm super stressed. |
| 3:12.0 | And that's why I gave you these affirmations. Affirmations are exit ramps to panic thoughts. They help you take out of, take yourself off of the highway that's leading you to a place of stress. |
| 3:24.0 | And remember that when your brain goes back into default thinking, we just go back to determined thinking, we just, we just switch it a little bit, right? Like it's, it's helpful to say to yourself, nothing has gone wrong here. |
| 3:38.0 | Brain, you just forgot that this thought is actually a better thought or this approach isn't one that I like to do anymore. I'm not going to buy into that method and instead, I'm going to be intentional. |
| 3:52.0 | I want to create an intentional holiday season. And that's what we're going to be coaching on today. So I'm going to talk to you briefly about the power of affirmations and how to even do them from a faith based perspective. |
