and I have two spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from May the 19th

I truly believe that our connections with our loved ones are not just left to the memories

that remain after they are gone. I think that in times we need reminders that they are still

with us, they find a way to give us signs. I myself had a few experiences these past few years.

In 2022 and 2023, I lost two of my grandparents,

my mom's mother and my dad's father,

both two complications after surgery.

I've been close to both sides of my grandparents my whole life.

They were all a huge part of my childhood, spending most of my weekends going to Los Angeles

to get time with both sides. My mom's mother unfortunately suffered for a while before passing.

She was in ICU for a month and every day we had hopes that she would pull through. The night before her passing I had a dream that she was standing next to my grandfather who passed when I was a kid. They were just standing there, holding hands and smiling. Not saying anything, just smiling at me. I woke up sobbing because I knew it meant

we didn't have much time left with her. I kept hearing my grandfather's voice in my head saying

right to her. Every time I tried to tell myself I was overthinking, the voice became louder and

clearer. So I wrote to her. I called my mom and told her about my dream

and told her that I wrote something for my grandmother and I asked her to read it to her. The next day my

mom read her the letter. My grandmother clinched her hand as acknowledgement and she passed away that day.

It was devastating to lose someone I was so close to, but I know that having that dream was a gift

from my grandfather. It gave me the opportunity I didn't have with him to say goodbye and to tell

her that I loved her one last time. Fast forward to 2023.
