The Hello and welcome to mini episode number 472 of real life ghost stories.

And I have three spooky stories for you today.

And the last story comes from the 16th of May 2025.

And story number one comes from Shawnee. Like many of your listeners, I've always

had a fascination with ghosts, aliens and cryptids. The only kind of paranormal experience I've

had personally, if you could even call it that, is that I feel what feels like cats crawling

around on my bed at night. We do have cats but they aren't allowed

in our room at night. I've felt them for years and don't even think much about it when it happens

anymore. What I'm really writing to you about is an experience that happened with my grandson.

When he was about three years old I lived in an older apartment building in Amarillo in Texas.

He would never go near my room alone, even for his favourite toy.

One weekend he was spending the night with me,

and when we snuggled down to go to sleep, he whimpered and turned his face in toward my side under my arm.

When I asked him what was wrong,

let me tell you I was not ready for the answer.

He looked up at me and whispered,

I don't like the way the man in the corner smiles at me.

There was nothing in that corner at all.

No chair, no pile of clothes,

nothing that could have caused any type of mistaken shape.

He's nine now and doesn't remember it at all. Thankfully we moved not long after.
