For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,

Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. If you are new to the

0:06.4

morning mindset I would encourage you to check out the description in your

podcast player or app. There is where you'll find a link to the page that

0:15.5

tells you all about the morning mindset and how you can come alongside to be a part of

0:20.2

the team that supports the production of this daily mindset reset that we're all benefiting so much from.

In case you haven't heard lately, we are almost 15,000 people listening to the morning mindset any given day. That's just incredible and

I praise God for the benefit that he's bringing about through the proclamation of

the author's trying to say. So let's read the verses together. It says for God alone, oh my soul, wait in

1:16.4

silence. For my hope is from him. So you see the author is speaking to his own soul. I wonder if you do that. Do you speak to

1:24.6

yourself in positive ways like this? Do you preach to yourself? That's how I've heard

1:28.9

it said and how it really resonates with my soul. I have to preach to myself to get myself on

1:34.4

track sometimes. And so what he's saying here is he's telling his own soul,

1:40.0

wait for God in silence your hope comes from him beginning in verse six again. He only is my rock and my salvation my fortress

1:50.1

I shall not be shaken.

1:53.0
