Summary

On this week's episode of The Cine-Files, Steve Morris and John Rocha continue their Season of Rob Reiner with part 1 of their deep dive and exploration of 1992's A FEW GOOD MEN. An American legal drama film, produced and directed by Rob Reiner and written by Aaron Sorkin, who adapted his 1989 play. It stars an ensemble cast including Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson, Demi Moore, Kevin Bacon, Kevin Pollak, J. T. Walsh, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Kiefer Sutherland. The plot follows the court-martial of two U.S. Marines charged with the murder of a fellow Marine and the tribulations of their lawyers as they prepare a case. It grossed $243 million on a budget of $40 million. The film was nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Jack Nicholson, Best Film Editing and Best Sound Mixing.
