Summary

Three years ago, my now-husband Brian Cristiano and I lined up at the start of two very different Turkey Trots. Though both races were five miles, the outcomes were vastly dissimilar. I ran the Prospect Park Track Club Turkey Trot in Brooklyn, NY, in a respectable 38:41—a 7:44 minute per mile pace. Meanwhile, in Rhode Island, Brian was racing the Newport Pie Run. Here's a dramatic retelling of how his race went, plus a very special Thanksgiving-themed Sprint to the Finish. 1:02.5	that one time because the truth is... It was like twice. Yeah, we usually if Brian makes me laugh,
1:08.4	we joke that the neck that like he doesn't have to try again for a really long time but the thing
1:12.7	about Brian is he never tries to make me laugh. When Brian makes me laugh so hard that I almost
1:17.8	pee my pants which is once a month he doesn't try. So I wanted to bring him on the show and I'll say
