Well, as most of you know, Katie and I have been heads down working on a project regarding

screens, how we're interacting with screens with our children, how we use screens and

utilize them for ourselves. You know, we've been smartphone free. I mean, I guess I've been

without a smartphone for five years now. And then you got rid of your smartphone three and a half

years ago because I think you were a three and a half years ago because i think

you were a year and a half after me and um yeah we're down to my laptop computer and then our family

desktop computer in our home so those are the two screens and uh yeah we've just been going deep into

how do we best utilize screens because we want to be screen maximizers, right?

We want to be able to utilize these in a way.

And technology, that's how I want to view all technology,

is I want to be able to optimize technology for the end goal that we have for our family, right?

That the Lord has placed on our heart, the things he's called us to

generally as Christians, and then more specifically within families and, you know, our own

unique, our each own unique calling. And so that's really the mindset that we have with technology

and with screens. And so it's been really fun, But it's raised the question because this comes up a lot.

And we see it in our research.

We see it in the conversations we're having with people.

And that is when the husband and the wife are not on the same page around technology,

it's becoming a real issue in marriages. Technology, phones in

specific, but screens, you know, like these are, this is becoming more and more referenced in

marriage counseling sessions, right? In, in divorce cases, you probably, if you start listening, we'll start hearing it amongst your friends.
