So we're just going to go ahead and kick this off with Kyle's quote. What do you got?

0:58.0

So this week, my quote is something that hits me pretty deeply. And it is a good walk in the morning,

1:04.6

a good day of meaningful work, a good workout session, a good conversation with a friend,

1:09.4

a good time with family, a good night of sleep, a good life is pretty simple. So I have shared this before, but, you know, when I was looking through our Instagram, it just brought me back because I'm just trying to live a good life. I know every single person here is looking to live a good life as well, or I guess you could say a great life. And that checklist is just pretty simple. And it's really cool because when you focus on one thing one by one, okay, good walk in the morning, checked off. Good day of work, checked off. And we don't have to overcomplicate it. My quotes always come back to not overcomplicating things. And I feel like when things aren't overcomplicated, you can just consistently do it and everything flows. So that's going to be my

1:44.3

quote for this week. Sometimes doing things simply is the hardest way to go about it. Even fitness,

1:50.3

when it comes down to it, it is very simple. It's when you complicate it that it becomes a lot

1:54.7

harder. But to do things elegantly and simply well is where more challenge comes in. That's where

1:59.6

experience can go a long way. And even for us with our coaching program, we really looked at every component of fitness, accountability, vision, planning, nutrition, training. And we've really tried to simplify in a way that works, that's sustainable, that makes sense. Because at the end of the day, it's the information overload, the what do I need to be doing the gym, what should I be eating, what's bad, what's good, how many calories, ball cut. It can be extraordinarily overwhelming. And I love that Kyle even said, life can be overwhelming in that sense. It can be really tough. And this bridge is perfectly in my quote, as most of our quotes tend to do. Because my quote is from Charlie Mungunger and it's that greed isn't what drives

2:34.8

the world instead it's envy so as Kyle's quote was about a simple life and appreciating the little

2:40.6

moments going on a walk with a friend having a great meal crushing a good workout this quote really hit

2:46.0

me because I'm adding on to this quote here with something else I saw which was that our lives are

2:50.6

objectively the best humanity has ever had yet complaining and dissatisfied I'm adding on to this quote here with something else I saw, which was that our lives are objectively

2:51.2

the best humanity has ever had, yet complaining and dissatisfaction is as high as ever. Humans don't

2:57.5

want their lives to be better. They just want them to be better than their neighbors. And this really

3:02.0

made me think because if you think about any given day, you can have whatever you want. You could have

3:06.3

an incredible food from all around the world. I'm reading a really cool book right now that I highly recommend. I'll talk about it a little bit later. But it's called The Fish It ate the Whale and just how much work went into exporting bananas to America and making sure they were there on time for they spoiled. Now we can go to the grocery store. We can get fruit from all around the world. We can get cuisine from any nation, any continent. It's absolutely incredible. We have gyms. We have amazing cars that can do things we never thought. But at the end of the day, it's so easy to scroll on Instagram and go, oh, I wish I was as attractive as this person, or I wish I had this yacht, or I was in this country. It can be so tempting. And the more we're looking at what other people are doing and the less we're focused on ourselves, the more we're hurting ourselves and really just shooting ourselves in the foot of our own journey. Another quote I added on to this is that comparison is truly a thief of joy. And if you're spending a lot of your time looking at other people wishing you had someone else's physique, someone else's results, someone else's strength. You're really hindering your own progress

4:01.6

because at the end of the day, it sounds cliche, but it is you versus you. And when you can
