As we go through life, there will be moments when we are stressed out, and when it feels like everything is falling apart. In those moments, the key to coming out on top and making better choices that align with our goals is mental flexibility.

Steps to Develop Mental Flexibility:
1. Check in with yourself regularly (outside of tough situations)
2. Check in with yourself during tough situations
3. Make the conscious choice to take control
